The Man's Costume

The Man's Costume is composed by:

A sack cap (called berritta) made of black woollen cloth.

The shirt is ample, with long sleeves, and closed at the neck with 2 gold or silver filigreed studs.

On the shirt there is the waistcoat made of black velvet.

The very ample and long trousers (sos kaltzones) are made of white linen, without decorations.

Under the knee, the lower part of the trousers is banded by the spats, made of black woollen cloth.

On the trousers there is a short and pleated skirt made of black woollen cloth.

The skirt is tight in the waistline with a leather belt (called kintolza).

The shoes are made of black leather.

The costume is often enriched by a black big jacket (su gabbanu), with ample pockets and hood.
